Good Enough Foundation, a community for charity registered under The Companies Act, 2013, was founded in 2016 by philanthropist Rajesh Kumar Ahuja. Moved by the diminishing humanitarian morals and expanding disparity between the needy and resourceful, the foundation emerged as a flag bearer for humanity.
The foundation aspires to evoke ‘inner humanity’ amongst every individual, thereby bridging the existing differences based on their financial status, religion, cultural adaptations, beliefs, value systems and caste. Inspired by the vision to unite humans and function in their best interest, Good Enough Foundation stands strong on its four pillars:-
Kindness, an obvious human expression, is unfortunately declining. Its absence is creating a wider gap between the rich and the poor; the former being capable of touching the latter’s life through simple kindly acts. We strive to strike a positive balance between the two by encouraging people to be generous and compassionate.
Happiness is the birth right of every human; having said that it is not commonly prevalent amongst the deprived many. Living amongst struggling households, they (especially children) never get a chance to celebrate cherished and gleeful moments. We sincerely attempt to fill this gap through various means and shower them with true happiness.
Lack of awareness is a key reason for deteriorating medical health in India. Unhygienic living conditions and poor access to welfare advice often results in grave diseases and epidemic break out amongst the lesser privileged class. The Foundation aspires to educate people about preventive healthcare measures and encourage them to follow a healthy lifestyle.
Countless religious divisions have led us to forget our first and most vital religion- Humanity. With terrorism, riots and wars emerging as necessary evils of religious separation, the foundation looks forward to encourage humans to rise above the religious biases, accept humanity as our single most religion and prosper in unity.
